• 3:00 PM – Visit to the village of Montefioralle: A short distance from Greve, Montefioralle is a picturesque medieval village considered one of “Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages.” Stroll through its narrow cobbled streets, admire the stone houses, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills. With over 600 years of history, the castle was once the home of Giovanni da Verrazzano, the explorer who discovered New York Bay. First documented in 963, this Romanesque church is one of the oldest in the Diocese of Fiesole.
